Victoria has brought a wealth of experience and knowledge to Planche Kitchen. Having earned her diploma in French Cuisine, she travelled and studied throughout Britain and the world, starting at Coombe House (now The Pig) near Honiton, cooking for the famous Sonny's Restaurant in Barnes and continuing on to America to a restaurant in Aspen, Colorado. By the age of 25 She had started her own film and event catering company and later opened her own cooking school in Chelsea. In more recent years Victoria moved to France and became the first Female British Chef to start a restaurant in the south west. Hugely successful the restaurant is now in its 13th year. Her career has also encompassed writing articles for food publications including Tesco Magazine, Dorling Kindersley Super Foods for children. GQ magazine, and many more. She is socially active within the food industry, has spoken on LBC Radio, worked on the Parliamentary Food and Health Forum, demonstrated at the Organic Food Festival at Olympia and consulted for new restaurants in Miami and Paris.
Bella grew up in a gastronomic atmosphere. As an observer to the family cooking school and catering establishment she developed a natural flair for all things foodie. After many summers in a packed full restaurant she became 'sous chef' and subsidised her university studies with restaurant business. During a year spent in Paris she also worked as front of house chez betty a reputed french/portuguese restaurant that specialises in organic & natural wine. More recently Bella has been to help with setting up two restaurants for a hotel in the Caribbean and had worked for karma cans doing sustainable office lunches in the city.
